Considering how alot of JotaKak shippers were AFAB it makes a bit of sense, I guess? We've been exposed to gender roles all our lives so I guess it just feels more comfortable for a lot of us to fit everything we see into that box? Idfk.

(Anonymous) 2022-06-14 05:33 am (UTC)(link)A lot of people make fun of CLAMP’s JotaKak doujinshi’s, understandably so. But a lot of shippers really do portray Jotaro and Kakyoin that way, so the doujinshis aren’t the out of nowhere anomaly people seem to think they are. I think people’s brain just breaks at trying to imagine any Jojo ship with stereotypical seme/uke dynamics, so that’s why the OOC way JotaKak are written feels weirder than other fandom’s m/m ships.
