Re: Travel modes

Trains are really fun to me, even if they are slow. I even enjoyed taking the subway when I lived in Boston.

I'm always terrified the plane is going to crash when I'm on it, but I'm usually even more terrified that the plane is going to flip. My vertigo is bad enough that it usually feels like it is going to far every time it does a steep turn. I also have this weird fear when it is ascending that it is somehow going to be sucked up and we're going to end up in space instead of on the ground.

Boats don't scare me, though. But I grew up on the water. I could swim by 5. And yes, I get that swimming isn't always an option in a boat crash. But water just doesn't scare me. It feels like home.
