Oh shit! They got rid of his chains! I stopped playing this game around 2017/18 because I was spending money on moving the story along (I was not in a very good place) and all I could remember then wondering and hoping the evil dead king was a romance option lol (this was back when Asra the Beautiful Mentor, Doctor Magic Byronesque, and Queen Widowfine were the only romance options. I can't recall of the bubbly lady in waiting was also an option along with Goth Man in Chains and Rags.

I haven't played in a while or finished them but they did open routes for evil dead king and bubbly lady in waiting too. :)
