Oh, yay! I recently watched "Crash" and began watching video essays on Cronenberg and a few interviews he's done, and I got the impression that Cronenberg holds very progressive views, especially in that the human body belongs to the individual, not the state or a higher entity.

Well, this secret makes me 40% more interested in seeing the movie. (I missed 3 of his last 4, but was a big fan back in the day.)

I haven't watched the movie, but I've watched some pretty thorough reviews of the movie, and from what I've heard about it, this sounds like a completely reasonable and understandable take.
