Bro, I feel this. I knew I had it good -- my job seamlessly transitioned to WFH in March 2020 (and I don't think I ever have to go back now) and we just kept plugging away with barely a dent in our stride. But I'd occasionally get jealous of my furloughed friends playing games and writing fanfic, and then of course feel guilty about that!

Be kind to yourself. It's natural to want a break, and to feel jealous. I remember so many articles at the time talking about how those furlough/enhanced unemployment checks allowed people to relax for the first time in their lives, or pursue artistic growth, or study an interest, and while people like us benefited through greater job security, we didn't get to experience that pause. It's okay to feel like you missed out on that.
