This will probably reduce some people to a frothing rage, but I am genuinely looking forward to the new Minions movie. It looks like dumb fun, and I am more than in the mood for sheer joyful dumb fun. You may now excoriate me in comments.

I never saw the first one, but I’m definitely on board with seeing this one because of Baby Gru!

I enjoyed the first Minions movie. It's just good silly fun. I'll have to check out the next one sometime (probably Redbox in a few months).
