(Anonymous) 2022-06-25 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)On the other hand, if it's a romance fic that's about interpersonal drama and is trying to get us onside with the romantic relationship with the two characters, that's where I don't think infidelity works.
It's different for me because I want to read about the verrrrry intense romantic love, the kind that's so wild and desperate you'll throw morality out the window and burn your life down just to have a chance. You might feel guilty about it (I like the angst) but not enough to stop, because you >can't.
