Recommend me some music to listen to while grinding out levels on a video game

Happy and/or loud stuff. I can't handle sad stuff right now. Preferably full albums. Some bands/singers I like.

Florence and the Machine, Muse, Woodkid, The Amazing Devil, Metallica, Pink Floyd

I like all genres except new country and rap.

I recommend Rush. They have something for everyone and have PLENTY of albums to get you through quite a few nights of gaming.

Metallic up to Garage Inc. Anything after that is...eh, in my opinion.

It's not an album per se but it's video game related. Have you heard of Miracle of sound?

Any album by Placebo would work for me. (And Depeche Mode, but it might be called sad if you were to listen closely to the lyrics. At least the songs that are not about sex or BDSM)

If you're looking for something a bit more upbeat and more pop, there's Years&Years that are pretty good. I love both of their albums even though I only listen to Rock, Metal and Indie stuff usually.

Italobrothers are one of my new discoveries, and they seem like they'd be great for listening to during fast-paced games.

My Chemical Romance's "Danger Days" album is loud and...well, maybe "happy" isn't the most accurate term but it's fairly upbeat and has a "never give up" vibe.

If you like Florence, you might like Zola Jesus, her new album is good. And Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle, Tori Amos etc.

Maybe Foster the People (particularly the album Sacred Hearts Club), Oh Wonder, Still Corners or Bearings

I listen to all your groups! You have great taste!!!

I highly reccomend Kamelot's Epica and The Black Halo which is a rock opera inspired by Faust's story. Some tracks are instrumental or with just some dialog, but on the whole they're some of the best albums ever made IMHO.
I also reccomend Epica's The Panthom Agony. It's symphonic metal. Anything by Epica is awesome and the vocals are just *chef's kiss*. I usually use them as background music when studying LMAO
Arch Enemy is a melodic death metal band. Wages of Sin, Anthems of Rebellion and Doomsday Machine are the best album IMHO.

Hope you have fun grinding in your videogame!!! :D
