A lot of people have that problem when it comes to most media. They think their personal opinion is objective fact and ignore how subjective media taste is.

I must admit that it took me a bit to warm up to this album back when it first came out because it just wasn’t what I’d been expecting, but I ended up loving it and “Save Yourself” is one of my top ten favorite songs. Pretty much all my friends hated it though and said it was super bad, but it’s not bad, just different. Plus I liked how the universe in the album and subsequent comic book led to burst of creativity in the fandom with people creating their own Killjoy personas (mine was a spy masquerading as a secretary in Battery City lol).

Supposedly the narrative from “Na Na Na” and “Sing” was gonna continue in a third music video, but they ran out of money.

Agreed so much!! I absolutely love this album, as well!

i'm generally okay with most of the album but SING has such pablum lyrics that i avoid the hell of the entire venture. probably would've loved the album tbh, but wowzers is SING such a milquetoast pandering attempt at making another "anthem" and falling flat on its face as a result. if not having to listen to that shitty song ever again means i have to avoid the entire album, then so be it.

You can’t just skip the song when listening to the album?

spotify never keeps it hidden, so if i set to play the entire album it'll pop up no matter what i do. i'd have to make its own playlist of Danger Days songs and exclude SING, but that's too much work for an album with a handful of decent songs and one super terrible one.

I love it. I totally remember thinking when I listened to it that it wouldn't be popular though lmao. As soon as glee was able to buy the right to SING, I knew it was going to be too commercial for a lot of fans.

That said...............I actually don't think it holds up as a concept album, so.
