I feel you!

Especially the last part; I’ve been there so many times, and it’s so disappointing when it goes the opposite direction the summary and/or tags make it seem like it will go.

Sometimes I do like the villain to be good or at least sympathetic in fics like this. And sometimes I don’t want that. I just want to be able to read what I’m in the mood for with no misleading summaries or bait and switching. It would be like getting a ‘Hurt, No Comfort’ when I wanted a ‘Hurt/Comfort’, or vice-versa.
