Ah yes, I too like to pretend that the character is just wake up like that, is not affected by sweat, and some how those curls and volume are always on point (as a person with natural hair). But we all know it's just an amazing stylist T.T or wig. Shout out to all the fic writers who have their OCs as curly headed (of different textures) characters! And actually write a bit of the process into it -- like no, MC is not running his hand through her hair lol

I dated someone who wore their curls short, at times very close to their head, and I always found it really nice to run my fingers through and give them a scalp massage.
