I LOVE that So You Think You Can Dance returned for the summer. I LOVE (most) of the new judges (glad they replaced Matthew Morrison's creepy ass, and don't mind Leah, but she also is clearly making up commentary). Twitch is amazing and Jojo bring a lot of bright energy (and yeah I'm also glad someone gay got a prominent job after coming out, especially since Nigel was so homophobic).

But the dancers are not elite. They're not that good technically. There's only a 4 really brill dancers and 2 pretty good ones, and they recently kicked another really good one off for being "too technically good" that it wasn't "connecting." And they stopped the solo for your life, and don't do the group numbers regularly.

I don't think the revival is going to last.
