The problem isn't his prose, the problem is the lack of chapters. Chapters give a book a sense of rhythm and contribute to feeling like it's moving forward. Not having chapters makes the books feel like they're stagnant.

Yeah this is the problem I have - which yeah I'll read his books, but I won't be taking them with me to places where I can stop at a chapter. Its something I'd have to read at home and guess at where's a good place to stop.

The Amazing Maurice and the Tiffany Aching series both have chapters. The Tiffany Aching stories are my favourite of all the Discworld novels.
