Just curious, but what do you define as "childish media", OP? I watch a ton of anime and the fandoms for those tend to have a lot of teenage fans, but I don't mind chatting with them. I have one fandom friend who's a teenager and we get along really well.

OP of secret here, I mean anime and such too. I think it bothers me because I am ND and with that comes a lot of issues (like avoiding relationships, not to mention failing to look and "feel" like an adult) so I am used to being seen as a "grown up kid" and even have my (very common adult) hardships and experiences invalidated. I have a hard time bonding (or even just casually chatting) with people unless we have shared interests, though, so... Well, I can't even feel like (or practice being) who I am if all I do on my free time is try to babysit teens, does that makes sense? It's not an "ew teens" issue, it's an "where are the adults? I feel isolated??" thing.

Honestly, I have been reading manga much more than watching anime recently, but I often like shoujo/josei and BL (but Where Are The Shoujo/Josei anyway...). Spy x Family seems to be kinda cool but I have yet to watch it (maybe I am afraid of joining another Fandom Full of Teens, who knows lol).

For what it's worth, Spy x Family's really fun! I'm not really in the fandom aside from looking at fanworks, but it's the one anime my parents like, so maybe you'll be able to find some older fans.
