When it comes to big-budget tenploe movies, it's true, though. There are countries that will not allow a movie to even be shown if there is any sort of lgbt content. China and Indonesia being high on that list. If a studio has spent 200 million on a movie, I can understand why they would want to maximize their profit any way they can. It's show business, not show friends, and those big budget tentpoles subsidize smaller movies and domestic projects that do contain lgbt content.

I get why people are upset, but it's a lot more complicated than many fans think.
