I do want another season, telling a different story. But yes, you can tell stories even when you know the final outcome. How would we have prequels otherwise?

Or even historical dramas. Did they complain that there was no point watching Titanic or Apollo 13 because we already knew how it was going to end? Because the box office numbers say otherwise.

Yup. I get that for some people surprise is everything, though in that case I'm not sure why they'd even ever rewatch media. But that isn't true for many people.
