I find HP to be wayy too wide a category, and WoW/DnD too over-specific/unfamiliar.

There's technically the Skyrim, and even Dragon Age classes. Fire Emblem would be my first alternate though only with the early games, (as I've only so far played up to Radiant Dawn) so I'm basically being very biased here;;

There was that classic Five-Man Band character stereotypical archetype list: Leader, Lancer, Big Guy, Smart Guy, The Chick.
There's another I'm completely forgetting about too though!! Augh!! I'm post if I remember it!!
