It's a good movie

I've never seen it, only heard of its' reputation. I want to watch it just to see what my thoughts of it will be. I think it's so cute/interesting/cool when someone genuinely likes something that others generally don't. There are always pockets of people online somewhere who share your sentiments!

I don't know whether I like it per se, but I really love that it exists. Like, when I'm actually in the middle of watching it I don't necessarily enjoy it that much (I admit I have a low tolerance for anything vulgar), but for some reason when I think about it after the fact (like when it is not actively dry humping itself into my eyeballs) I fucking love it, lol.

Also, I've always assumed it was a major inspiration for Birds Of Prey, and I very much wish Hollywood would create more things using Tank Girl as inspiration.

I'm so-so on the movie, but I love Lori Petty (and fuckin' A, she was so hot in that movie).

Also I love that soundtrack.

I'll always love the comic more but the movie is great if you consider it its own separate thing.

tank girl is a bit of a mess but it's a FUN mess with STYLE and fuckin killer animation inserts.

that said, my memory's fuzzy, but i'm pretty sure the movie did real booga dirty. in the comics he's just a chill guy who thinks his girlfriend is awesome but can also keep up with her intelligence.

Oh I LOVED this movie so so much, watched it so many times...it's time for a rewatch for sure. Lori Petty is so gorgeous, Jet Girl so brilliant, Ice-T as T-Saint! Deetee! Malcolm McDowell was a brilliant villain. The "Let's Do It" dance number! Off to go watch again.
