I usually don't have a top/bottom preference. But I do sometimes have a dom/sub preference. It just depends on the pairing. Some characters just read as really dom or really sub to me, while others I think either don't do D/s at all or switch things up. I do wish more people would write top subs and bottom doms, though.

There are maybe one or two characters who I can't see bottoming because I feel like they'd consider that too vulnerable and wouldn't be something they'd do.

Oh mood.

Actually, I was team switch in one fandom until people who were really aggressive about A-must-always-top-because-B-is-the-bottomiest-bottom-ever-to-bottom had me only reading and writing Top B/Bottom A... but in my current fandom it just happened organically. I *can* read/write them switching it up experimentally, or going one way first then discovering they both prefer it the other way, but it feels like I just know in my heart that C is a flexible top and D is an in-an-emergency-I-can-top BOTTOM.

This would be Cumberbatch for me. Usually he does nothing for me, but Steven Strange is really hot. It is the long hair and facial hair. That kind of look improves a lot of men for me.

Idiots with cars is probably my fave. Also love accidental camouflage, asshole designs, bad women's anatomy, bossfight, cats who yell, cats with jobs, curled feetsies, history memes, LOTR memes, Silmarillion memes, next fucking level, OT memes (a star wars group), Prequel memes (same), political humor, sappho and her friend, and wholesome memes.

Oh man, I relate to this so hard. I never went so far as to be one of those people that insists that a pairing MUST be 50/50 switch or it's unrealistic or whatever, but I pretty much never had a preference and would enjoy it in any fashion.

But I have a pairing now that for some reason I am SUPER strict about, haha. I'm curious what yours is! Mine is Noctis/Prompto from FFXV, and yeah... I can't stand top!(dom!)Prompto stuff at all (in any pairing with him), and I don't particularly care for bottom!Noct stuff either, so it's a perfect storm. It makes the most sense for me in-character for them? Noct already acts like he owns Prompto lmao.
