Are there any actors or actresses that you usually aren't attracted to, but in one (or maybe two) role you find them to be really hot?



This would be Cumberbatch for me. Usually he does nothing for me, but Steven Strange is really hot. It is the long hair and facial hair. That kind of look improves a lot of men for me.

100% agreed. Just watched the new Doctor Strange movie the other day and the lack of beard in the flashback scene in the restaurant actually low-key bothered me. He looks much better with it. And I don't actually LIKE beards.

Agreed on Cumberbatch as Steven Strange! I didn't think I'd continue to crush on him in "Multiverse of Madness" but no. I was so in love with him through the whole movie.

Michael Shannon in "The Shape of Water" *this is my shameful crush; not because it's Shannon the actor, it's because it's Strickland the character*

Ryan Gosling in "The Place Beyond the Pines" T_T I can't explain why it's the trashy look that did for me. Like, I get that he's an attractive man, seems like a sweet guy, but he just never did it for me. Showed up for an interesting drama, ended up spending the whole movie feeling weird that I found Ryan Gosling so hot. And if you know how long he's in the movie...LOL

And I feel like I'd feel the same about Gosling (haven't seen it yet,but the thoughts you have were exactly why I was considering watching it).

I've mentioned it before but the only time I have ever been attracted to Michael Douglas is in Black Rain. That's it. And he was REALLY hot in Black Rain, especially standing next to Andy Garcia - those two had a spicy chemistry. Yum.

Dude who played Aragorn in the movies. I don't even remember his name lol but I know he was smokin' hot when dirty as sin in that series.

Jim Carrey as the Grinch.

My taste is highly Highly questionable. I was simultaneously attracted and repulsed.

Hee, I love this answer :D. I can't judge regarding Keaton's Beetlejuice, 'cause thinking back on it, as a kid I think I had a bit of a crush on the cartoon version of that character, so...yeah. I get it :).

As for Carrey, that reminds me that I thought he was pretty good-looking in Liar, Liar.

Henry Cavill always seems suuuuper bland to me. Then I saw The Witcher. Yes, please.

I haven't yet watched the Witcher, but I agree with this just from the trailers, promotional material alone. He looks hot in that role. I do love a long-haired man.
