(Anonymous) 2022-07-17 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)I'm sorry, those first couple of days really were awful. :( I pretty much just laid in bed watching true crime shows all day lol.
Do you have anything you can play games on? That super helps pass the time, and I can probably suggest something or another if you're interested?

(Anonymous) 2022-07-17 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)If you like JRPGs, definitely pick up the Chrono Cross remaster-- it also comes with the first English-language release of the text adventure sort-of-prequel Radical Dreamers, which is awesome.
If you like roguelikes and amazing art direction and music, grab Hades. Honestly even if you've never played roguelikes I think it's a great place to start with them; the difficulty ramps up gently, so you can get used to the gameplay incrementally as you get stronger. It's so good.
Monster Hunter Rise is another really, really great game that's super satisfying to play-- it's pretty much what it says on the tin, haha, you go out and hunt monsters. You have a dog friend and a cat friend to help you out, too. It can get hard, but it's not unfair-- it's just a matter of finding the right path of attack for each monster. SO good. This one is multiplayer, too, if you have friends you can get to play online!
I have plenty more lmao, but this is a good starter!

(Anonymous) 2022-07-17 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)I have wanted to play Chrono Cross for, like, twenty years. I had no idea there was a remaster. Thank you so much for the recs, this will definitely help with the boredom. ♥

(Anonymous) 2022-07-17 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)Plus it's not as expensive as first-party titles, and since you're getting two games in one it's a lot of bang for your buck. :D Enjoy! And rest up. Lots of fluids!
