Does that mean you can't support media produced in a country with growing anti LGBTQIA legislation, stripping of bodily autonomy of citizens, and numerous war crimes against others and lots of civil rights violations towards its own citizens? Who regularly take action against their citizens in ways that fit in with UN definitions of war crimes? Otherwise you'd be hypocritical to be against those things but consuming media made in that country? Who is becoming increasingly nationalistic and might slide into autocracy?

Hope you never watch anything made in the US, then.

Uh huh. Sure. So what do you watch and on what platforms? Foreign dramas? Your streaming service is still based in the US! Anime? Crunchyroll is a US company. Whups!

Not-US shows on TV, most of which are not foreign to me, a not-USAmerican person. I don't have streaming services. Whups!
