Re: Based on #1 What are your go to drinks - fandom or non-fandom related?

Bloody Marys are really easy to make at home and taste good even with cheap vodka because tomato juice is so overpowering and fandomwise used to order Rusty Nails because of that song by X Japan. I think in general I'm very susceptible to fandom cocktails because I don't know much about alcohol so I just order whatever and see whether I like it or not... but I don't have any go-tos.

Have you tried a Caesar? It's basically a Bloody Mary with Clamato instead of tomato juice. Rim the cup with celery salt, add a shot of Vodka, fill to 3/4 about with Clamato, a dash of Worcester, double dash of tabasco, and a glug of pickle juice! Throw a pickle in and it's the best thing ever!

Bloody Marys are great but I also really, really like just a basic michelada, which is basically the same thing but with beer. Very mellow summer drink.

DA

I've never heard of this before, but that sounds oddly delicious? I normally do not like beer, but I absolutely would try the hell outta this.

About how beer-ish would you say it is? More like a spicy cider, or a lime flavoured type deal?

Well, the nice thing is that you can customize it quite a bit to your taste by using different kinds of beer, different amounts of tomato juice, different amounts of citrus, different spices or hot sauces, etc. For me I like it with a lighter beer, like a pilsner or something like that, and I go a little lighter on the tomato juice and lean more on hot sauce for a little spiciness. But you can really make it however you like it.
