This is obviously not true, but I’ve always liked to imagine that Come Together by The Beatles is about having a threesome. Some parts of it are clearly just funky bits of chaotic miscellaneous, but I like to imagine that amidst the misc, it’s about a threesome.

“I know you, you know me / One thing I can tell you is you got to be free” definitely sounds like something a high person would say to a friend or an acquaintance while casually dropping a threesome invitation.

“Hold you in his armchair, you can feel his disease” also sounds sexual, though not necessarily threesome-y.

“One and one and one is three" Yes. Yes it is.

And then of course the chorus, “Come together, right now, over me” which always has and always will make me think of one person reclining while two other people start getting it on over the third person’s reclined body.

I know this isn’t actually what the song is about. But it is to me, and I like it.
