Favorite character after LXC. They deserved better.

I still believe that he wasn't any worse than WWX from a moral standpoint. Of course WWX happened to be the main character.

I'm pretty sure WWX killed way more people than JGY did.

He doesn't kill his wife though she kills herself and it's never stated that he kills his child, that's left up to interpretation.

He directly causes her death and... no, I'm pretty sure it's very clear he killed his child.

Apart from all the deaths of innocents, sure.

Seriously though, JGY and WWX make excellent narrative foils. They start out in relatively similar positions--disadvantaged and given position while it's still very clear their positions were GIVEN--and their choices are extreme and selfish but ultimate driven by different core urges. Namely, imo, JGY desperately wants to protect himself to prove his worth, and WWX desperately wants to protect others to prove his worth.
