I don't understand how people who live above others can't figure out HOW FUCKING LOUD THEIR FOOTSTEPS ARE.

Everything is BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG THUD BANG and I don't know WHAT THE FUCK they are doing to make EVERYTHING RATTLE, especially things that sound like glass. These aren't slow footsteps either. These people sound pissed off at the floor.

In some older buildings, the floors just don't damper things as much as they should, so ordinary steps get unreasonably amplified.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, my god there are some people that just can't NOT walk like elephants! At my last apartment, I was on the second floor, and I had to keep scolding one of my friends who would stomp all over whenever she visited. Like, don't you hear yourself???

This building is literally only 10 years old, if even that. Granted, it has those fake wood floor panels but I've had other neighbors that didn't walk like elephants and so feverishly. And they're still awake at like midnight.
