People texting me with questions about (sometimes) my job or (usually) where I live that they can easily find the answer to with a quick Google search. They'll literally be like "*screenshot of an article headline making a claim about something that supposedly happened in my state.jpg* Is this true?" Look up the article you have the title of right there! Look for more to verify it! I know the subtext here is that they just want to talk to me and are using these as conversation starters, but they could still look the facts up themselves first and start by telling me that they learned a cool new thing instead of always asking. I don't know everything about where I live either, and it's exhausting to always be asked, asked, asked.
