Huh, now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a boba drink labelled as a latte that had espresso in it (or any kind of coffee).

Yeah, after today I'm going to assume that "latte" in bubble tea speak means "milk." Though the next time I go to a different bubble tea establishment I will ask them whether their lattes have espresso in them, just to verify!

What're a couple of your favorite flavors?

I don't tend to opt for coffee flavored bubble tea, I guess because I feel like if I want fancy coffee I'll go to Starbucks. But I really like Coco's Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, so I thought I'd mix it up and try the latte version.

The T&T I go to has pre-made coffee flavored bubble tea, and I sometimes get that, but that's about it on the coffee front.

Matcha milk tea’s my go-to drink, but one of the local places here does a great dirty chai that I really like.
