Copyright should be life of the author/creator. It's bullshit that someone should put work into something and not benefit if say, they did it at 25 and by 45 it's still wildly popular and generating revenue.

No opinion on out of print stuff because that's not generating revenue and secondhand stores/libraries don't generate income for the creator.

They can still benefit from it but other people can too. An author who has a work in the public domain can still sell that work.

This. I'm "eh" on a creator's grandchildren/great-grandchildren being able to profit off something they had zero involvement in, but it should absolutely last for as long as the original creator is still alive. It's their work, they deserve to be able to reap all of the profits from it.
