I'd never watched a Steve Shives video before now. I see that he only has 1/10th the subs that TCD has, and it seems weird to compare them in the same breath, because not only is Shive's channel 10x less popular but it's also much more overtly and deliberately focused on politics, and in some cases, educating people about politics. Whereas TCD's channel is predominantly a media criticism channel that is mainly political insofar as TCD has strong political opinions that influence his thoughts, feelings, and perspectives on the media he critiques.

With that said, I was curious so I just watched a Steve Shives video (I picked the one on Post-Roe Abortion Rights because it seemed the most likely to be polarizing and/or miss the mark on the issue without realizing it) and was pretty impressed with how straight forward, approachably educational, and non-reactionary it was. So IDK, I'm a bit skeptical that he's what you're making him out to be, anon. Do you have a link to one of his vids that you find particularly egregious?
