I have gave up on finding new things too. I am now much less tolerable to things I don't like.
Speaking of. Does anyone have recs to anime? My favorites are Monster and Mushishi, I still find them really enjoyable

I'm the anon upthread demanding that OP tell me what they're into! For Monster and Mushishi (DAMN good picks) I'll give you four I'm fond of, all streaming in various places.

Vinland Saga: loose adaptation of saga material follows a bereaved child who's vowed to kill the leader of a Viking band laying siege to towns and villages in the run-up to the conquest of England.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: dry, slow-moving space-based political drama with huge battles. Clearly influenced by Star Wars, but it's so thoughtful and dynamic, with a huge and interesting cast and unpredictable story. Major Germanic influence. The modern reboot is fine but honestly the original is spectacular and it's so great we can get it legally now.

To Your Eternity: a rock is sent to observe humanity. If it witnesses something striking it gains understanding of it. Thus it becomes a creature that, when it sees death, can become the person it saw die. It begins to travel, trying to work out how to live well and keep its human friends out of danger.

86: an imperfect show with a really interesting atmosphere. Elite young female soldier delivers orders and strategy to a palpably doomed squad of similarly young soldiers who she'll never meet, and catches a lot of feelings about it.
