I tend to alternate between fic and podfic. They are different enough kinds of creativity that doing one is a rest from the other. Also... fic is about saying what *I* think. Podfic (if it's someone else's work) is about trying to vibe with what someone else thinks and convey that in a different format. It's good mental practice.

I've always wanted to make podfic, but I never found exactly what I wanted to adapt. It sounds super fun!

It is! Hard work, though, so I'd suggest starting with something <1000, just so you can learn the twiddly bits on something small.

How do you make podfic? I've never actually listened since it's such a personal experience for me that I feel having someone read it to me would throw me out of it! But I'm very curious! What kinds of fic do you do,?
