(Anonymous) 2022-08-10 02:27 am (UTC)(link)Personally don't care one way or the other, and from someone who is far too lazy to do that kind of thing, I even think with moderation, it looks cool sometimes. OP is definitely full of themselves though.

(Anonymous) 2022-08-10 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)Positivity is more mainstream. Negativity is kinda niche in fandom. I rarely find people to bash chars and plots together but it's so so good when I do.
A matter of tastes and what you enjoy.

(Anonymous) 2022-08-11 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)The fandom I currently engage with the most is being flooded with social media or epistolary fics hosted over Twitter threads, and I had doubts until I tried the most popular one. The format makes for some interesting and creative storytelling opportunities, especially if the writers go past the boundaries of social media to include handwritten letters or notes, formatted documents, or their own art. I don't like when actors' unrelated pictures are involved because it always feels weird to me to associate the personal lives of performers with the characters they play, but I otherwise get why that sort of storytelling is uniquely appealing.
