Think I replied to this when it was a text secret but May’s shows are the best. I did like Clarkson’s farm but as always the people around him make it easier and somewhere in there was an important point about the farming industry.

But May manages informative without being too showy and I like that best. The series in Italy just made me want to go back yet again. Love visiting Italy!

Don’t bother with the island escape Hammond did. It’s crap.

May is interesting, Hammond is shallow, but Clarkson is a loud dickhead.

He is definitely the least likeable of the three by some distance.

The people who actually knew what they were doing such as Caleb and the shepherdess (unfortunately I forgot her name) made the farm watchable, though I accept some of the incompetence on Clarkson’s part was manufactured for drama/funny. And even then I felt so sorry for Caleb (someone who was country through and through) having to drive in London at Clarkson’s behest.

I'd have preferred Clarkson's Farm without Jeremy Clarkson in it.

They had a good dynamic going when it was the three of them, but on his own I find him unbearable.

The problem with Clarkson is that he is such and overpoweringly unbelievable dickhead, that it takes quite a lot to dilute his dickheadedness down to a level where watching him is tolerable.

Yes. This. So much this.

Heh, I like Clarkson too. Haven't heard aything damning re his treatment of coworkers other than that punch.

James May is the only one of those guys I can tolerate on his own. Clarkson needs to be balanced out and occasionally punched down, and Hammond is less terrible, but annoying in his own way.

They're not the original three...?

I liked Clarkson's Farm, even tho I doubted I would, but most of the enjoyment came from the people filming alongside him, tbh. Kaleb is hilarious and the show is worth watching for him alone!
That being said, yeah, James's solo shows are the best, all of them <3

Thank you OP!

I forgot to check the posts yesterday so I missed this, and you probably won't see my comment thanking you. But maybe someone else will see it.

Maybe I'll try to give Clarkson's show another shot, he does have a second season coming.

I meant secret maker. I'm an idiot. :-)
