Re: old nostalgic TV that isn't cringe

Agreed. Even the episodes that aren't quite at classic level are still worth watching, just 'cause the acting was so good or there were some great scenes or lines. That show really was an embarrassment of riches when it came to the amount of sheer talent that worked on it, in front of and behind the scenes.

As for other shows, "Frasier" still holds up quite well. Classic humor, again, a very talented cast and stable of writers... Doesn't matter how many times I watch those episodes, they will never fail to make me laugh :).
