I remember it being on the radio all the damn time.

I think OP is saying they don't like the media of the 00s though, or the politicians, or that's how I'm reading it, so it's not a white endorsement of bad 00s media?

I mean, I guess I can understand how some of this media could be nostalgic to people, really ANYTHING could be nostalgic to people. but reading this as an American myself gave me a laugh.
