Your comment has made me think that I do kinda miss the days when I didn't know exactly what everyone I even just vaguely had a connection to thought about the ending of a show, or an entire film or book.

I do like being able to discuss shared interests so easily of course but sometimes...the amount of noise is just exhausting? And like you say, it's super intense for a couple of hours and then recedes but here comes the next Thing that Made Everyone Mad and the cycle repeats.
