I'm in middle of the first book in the series right now!

Then you're in for quite a ride if you read the rest of the series! :) Imo book 1-6 are the best ones in terms of the plot and the mystery, but book 7-9 are good as well. Even if book 7 has a way too scattered plot, book 8 has too much over the top nonsensical backstory, and book 9 is also a bit too over the top. But even then I'm still having a good time reading them. :)

I do recommend the books as well, they are different from the movies in many ways, but they are also quite easy and fun to read :)
