Yeah, it's always annoying if the main fandom trend is something you're absolutely not into. Whether it's a paring or a trope or something else. In minor doses it's mostly fine, as long as everything is tagged properly. Nothing like reading a fic for A/B only to have it be A/B/C or the other way around.

Yeah. There were a couple open relationship fics posted fairly close together, and then it became a trend and now pretty much every fic involves open relationships. I want to read about A/B together without anyone else involved, which is incredibly rare, and it's even more frustrating since it's already a pretty small fandom and ship.

Yes, it's all fiction, what so awful about having fun with just two of the characters? Esp if they're the ones with the strongest connection in canon.
