I feel like mcdonaldland had a basic "plot" going on and definitely has an actual cast of distinguishable characters (I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but there was legit like a bad guy/good guy mcdonald beef heh heh between ronald and like grimace, hambrugler and other villains, and like....grimace has a whole fucking family), but for most of this...I see your point.

Yep. As a child of the 80's/90's there was so much McDonald's content and merchandise aimed at kids that it definitely qualified as its own universe.
