I'm not following this shit anymore: to me, leaving an argument is a de-escalation technique to get my bearings and be able to talk it out calmly later. It used to upset my partner too, but he understands it for what it is now. Someone who keeps provoking someone who's trying to leave a fight, is a red flag to me.

I have no opinion on Heard or Depp except that I'm sick of hearing about it, but this is true. Walking away is the best thing you can do sometimes if you know staying will escalate the situation. People need time alone to chill out and process what happened. It's not abusive to set that boundary and take care of yourself and keep things from getting worse.

mte. I honestly can’t tell if FS people are trolling and I’m just too dense to read it or if we have a lot of delusional anons. But this whole thing has made me feel more disconnected from FS than anything else going back about 14 years.
