Bill’s fun. He realized his dimension was in some sense not “real,” and he tried to “liberate” it from arbitrary laws of nature. This collapsed the whole dimension and killed everyone except himself. He’s convinced himself it wasn’t his fault, and now he wants to “liberate” other dimensions, too.
