It is Peridot. One of the artists said it on social media, along with saying that was the reason she never fuses. It was controversial for a bunch of reasons: Rebecca Sugar herself didn't say anything about it; other staff members had spoken before about shipping her with other characters (mainly Lapis and Amethyst, and that was a whole shipwar that got dragged back up); the implication that fusion is indicative of sex/romance when that's always been a hated misconception that is obviously refuted in canon by like, Steven fusing with anyone. But she gets brought up on lists of canon aro and/or ace characters now, and in pop articles about the rise or ace representation, sometimes even those articles talk about how people disrespect the rep by shipping her.
