I feel like if done right, like any scene that wants to tell a mini-story or get a point across, it can be well done.

In terms of sexiness, I would say it's dependent on the music, lighting, chemistry between the actors, and the flow of action/movement.

I personally find the human body extremely beautiful and I'm quite into visuals so I tend to like sex scenes. But I'm also highly emotional so if it's not executed well I'm not going to be into it.

+1

I want a sex scene to be very specific to the characters. Sex is so incredibly variable, there is so much difference between individuals in what they want and what they don't, and how they express it or how they don't. And it's so crucial to so many different kinds of relationships.

I also find the human body beautiful and also the human mind, and sex is actually extremely important to the mind. I just hate when people think the rational brain checks out when they see naked bodies together. No, mine doesn't.
