No I wouldn't. Because the world has more than one person in it I know, because I'm not an isolationist asshole who never bothered to bond with only one person I'm using as a replacement kid because mine died. He treats Ellie like a replacement Sarah and not her own person and outright fucking lied to her because he cared more about his own manpain than what Ellie wanted out of it, even telling her that she was basically useless to the world to get her to stay with him. He's a selfish prick and I'm surprised it didn't get him zombified years ago and his own selfish actions means that his family beyond Ellie is now having to worry about being zombified, because he cared more about playing house with his replacement daughter than the welfare of the rest of his family--that he even had the audacity to fucking return to afterward like he cared about their welfare at all/

It's easy to believe you'd do the right thing until you have to. I suggest not giving yourself so much automatic credit for choices you'll never be forced to make.

Me and my wife are both disabled. We have actually talked about this exact thing because end-of-life planning is ever on our minds. So maybe don't assume situations, kthnx <3
