While Blonsky definitely exceeded his orders by taking Sterns experimental serum, he was also still clearly tweaking on Ross's own unproven experimental serum before that. Honestly, it ought not to have been hard for his previous lawyer to make the case the balance of his mind was disturbed at the time and that he lacked the adequate mens rea to even be held accountable for that. Blonsky got shafted, big time. I also wonder why, since he was a Royal Marine on loan to Ross, the UK wasn't moving heaven and Earth to get him back and get their own Hulk?

In general, I’m loving that the show is playing with issues of superhuman law. It’s giving the whole thing a bit of nice nuance to complement the jokey tone.

I feel like they won’t do anything really significant with it – understandable, given the light sitcom setting – but I hope it’ll lead to some interesting fic.
