I think you're missing why Meghan was upset wrt racism and title. The issue as she saw it was that the royal family wasn't providing necessary security (because of racism) simply because Archie didn't have a title. And since the title thing was a relatively new change and not a law, there was really nothing stopping the royal family from changing course and either (1) giving Archie a title to enable him to be eligible for security, or (2) giving him security without a title based on the threats against him.

I don't understand. Where was he going to go that would take him out of the sphere of his parents' security protection? Wasn't that the reason he didn't get his own full security detail? You know, because he was a literal baby, in the care of his parents and under his parents' security details?

Babies grow up. And his parents had jobs that often took them away from him.
