I haven’t read it in years, but there was this one comic called The Norm that I remember thinking was so much better than everything else in the paper. It didn’t seem very popular, though. I remember this one arc where Norm wakes up, and his wife isn’t beside him, and he realizes there’s nothing in the entire house that proves he was ever married in the first place and he wasn’t just dreaming the whole thing.

I was in a sequential art class that was taught by the guy who did The Norm! Very nice dude, gave me a signed collection for having perfect attendance. I didn't actually have perfect attendance, though, and he signed it to an extra-shortened version of my name that nobody ever called me, so I'm not entirely sure what that was about. But he seemed very passionate about comics.
