Yeah pretty much.

Rincewind books are still good but they're clearly the least interesting and least good books in the series for my money. The character himself is simply not at all interesting, a one-note joke who ended up appearing in way too many books. The books are all picaresques which is way less interesting to me than the rest of the books in the series structurally which are usually set in specific interesting locations, have well-worked-out plots and well drawn characters, etc. And I think the Rincewind books are also generally quite a bit more dated.
