My reading time is precious and I read for enjoyment. If a book isn’t enjoyable, I abandon it for one that is. I have never understood a lot of the pseudo-intellectual BS about every print copy is sacred and you must finish every book you start; neither is even remotely true and goes hand in hand with gatekeeping reading from filthy casuals who don’t read the “right” things.
